Having played all across the U.S & over-seas to producing and remixing, Michael Trance is a name that is no stranger to the electronic music scene.
Michael Trance’s Electro Progressive House sounds have been heard at the hottest club spots in Hollywood, Orange County & Los Angeles, such as - The Vanguard, Tatou, Vice, Hollywood Mansion, Ritual, Ember, Vertigos, Ivar, Minx & 740.
His production & remix credits under the Michael Trance name have appeared on a variety of dance labels such as: SHR Recordings, U.C Music, Aqua Boogie , Miswax & Priority Records. Having released several CD mix compilations over the years has given Michael the opportunity to show off his diverse style and creative editing skills.
Through the 90’s the name Dj Michael Trance was synonymous with house music across the airwaves on the #1 radio mix-show on Saturday nights, PowerTools on L.A's Power 106 FM. PowerTools is hosted by Richard Vission, where Michael mixed and helped with the production of the show for several years. The show aired at midnight every Saturday where Michael Trance opened the show up with the infamous “ Classic’s Mix “. Michael’s end of the year Powertools Top 40 mega-mixes also became an instant smash with L.A club goers and his fan base.
Under his alias’s Michael Trance & Mike Acosta , he has remixed tracks from Usher, Alejandra Guzman, Satoshi Tomeii, Gwen Stefani & most recently remixed tracks from ColdPlay, Rhianna, Empire Of The Sun, The Black Eyed Peas & Kesha now available on www.ratedh.net Some originals include Sunrise feat. Behind the scenes his programming, production and sound design have been heard on countless musical instruments & software instruments & plug-ins from companies such as Roland U.S., FXpansion, Vengeance Sound, reFX, Image-Line, Ableton & Open Labs.
